Why
A brand built on quiet luxury was selling through a shop that looked like a template.
Before
A WordPress shop on a bought theme. It sold, but nothing about it looked like IBMAR.
The ask
A shop that feels like the clothes: calm and modest. It had to run in three languages and cost little to keep online.
The result
I designed the storefront and the back office as one product. The brand owns all of it, from the first page a shopper sees to the invoice.
What shoppers and staff get
Made to be easy to buy from, and easy to run.
Three languages, both directions
English, Dutch and Arabic. In Arabic the whole shop mirrors right to left.

A bag that tells the truth
The number in the header always matches what checkout will charge for. It also shows how close you are to free shipping.
Sized for modest fits
Every piece lists its hem length and the model's height, and the size guide is one tap away.
Pay the local way
Checkout is hosted and secure, and it takes iDEAL, Bancontact, cards, Apple Pay and PayPal.
One back office
Orders, refunds, stock, customers, promotions and finance all live in one place. Staff, managers and the owner each see their own part of it.
Built with
A custom commerce engine, no platform underneath.

Design
Quiet luxury, on screen.
Editorial serif
Large serif headlines sit over a plain sans, the way a fashion magazine sets a page.
Warm paper, black ink
An ivory ground and square black buttons. Colour comes from the clothes.
Modest imagery
At the brand's request, the photography shows fabric, form and place, and never a face.
The demo shop with IBMAR's own LUMÉA collection. Product photography is IBMAR's.
